How to request deletion of your account data

You can request deletion of your account data and connected platform access tokens at any time.

For security reasons, we may request additional information to verify your identity before processing a deletion request.

Option 1: Email Request

Send an email to contact@draft.social with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include your account email address.

Option 2: API Request

If you're authenticated, you can request deletion by calling our API:

Option 3: In-app deletion

What Gets Deleted

Unless otherwise specified, a data deletion request includes:

  • Stored access tokens and connection records for connected platforms (Instagram, Pinterest)
  • Your user profile and account settings

If you request selective deletion, please specify this in your request.

Processing Time

We process deletion requests within 30 days as required by GDPR and platform policies. We delete stored access tokens from our systems immediately; access from our side stops. You can additionally revoke access in the platform’s settings. You'll receive a confirmation email once deletion is processed.

Revocation

You can also revoke platform access at any time:

  • Facebook/Instagram: Settings → Security & Login → Apps and Websites (Facebook) or Instagram → Settings → Apps and Websites.

Note: This page is required by Meta (Instagram/Facebook) App Review to be publicly accessible and linked from your Privacy Policy.

Disconnecting vs. Deleting Your Account

Disconnecting a social media account immediately stops any further data access, publishing, or analytics synchronization for that platform, without deleting your draft account.

Account deletion removes your user account and all associated data as described above.
